Description: Somehow printing gets stuck in landscape format. Subsequent documents are printed landscape orientation, but text does not cover page width. This happens with the printer, but not PDF rendering, and print preview also shows correct format. Incorrect format occurs in print dialog and printout. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a document and set page format to landscape 2. Print document, and verify it is printed landscape 3. Open a different document that is set to portrait format 4. Print this document - is it portrait or landscape? Actual Results: The document is printed sideways, but width of text does not change. Expected Results: Document in step 4 should be printed in portrait format. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Printer is Epson Workforce 633. Latest print driver (v13) in place, and tried reinstalling printer driver. Reported bug not seen with other application. or previous version of OpenOffice. Recently updated OS to v.10.13 High Sierra. @John : does this occur with any document, or only certain types, or just certain particular documents ? See also bug 92190
And also bug 68032
I'm affected by this as well. It looks like a known problem: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/121393/libreoffice-540-writer-portrait-document-prints-as-landscape/ The work-arounds listed on that page do work for me, but they are very inconvenient.
I think this bug might be a duplicate of bug 98114.
Mac Computer OSX 10.11.6 -- I can never make a text document (haven't tried any others) print in Portrait. No matter what I try it prints in Landscape in a manner unusable for communications to the recipient. I have yet to ever print a portrait oriented page. I found if I go through gyrations of making it a PDF document, it will usually be in portrait. Too much hassle. Why can I not set it to Portrait and have it come out in Portrait, so I can fold it, put in an envelope and mail it?
