Description Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) 2017-11-07 15:22:06 UTC
In some cases it's useful to know what image format you are dealing with.
In LO there is currently no way to know what format an image has.
We should add this information to the "Image" dialog, or somewhere.

Hi Samuel,

Fine idea. I agree.

or to Statusbar (when image is selected) or may be as tooltip on image (when cursor point is on image)
Comment 3 Telesto 2020-08-17 15:27:13 UTC
I agree. Adding UX pro forma.
Comment 4 Heiko Tietze 2020-09-09 11:23:23 UTC
Thought the internal format is always the same. Which means this is rather about where the image comes from, as discussed in bug 133719. While Writer has image properties there is not such an option in Calc and Draw/Impress. So before introducing a new dialog let's take a step back and think about what the information is good for. I don't see the use case.
