Description:
I figured out what the problem is. Microsoft is trying to force me to buy their Office Suite. They updated on Nov. 7, 2017 and now when I try to open an existing Excel spreadsheet, they block access to it with a "box" about signing up for MS Office. If I closed the box, the Excel spreadsheet closed too. My relative told me to select the spreadsheet, right click, then select Open With "Libre Calc". It works. Yah! So, delete my bug report (Bug 113748) that I filed on Nov. 9, 2017. I am sticking with you guys!

Actual Results:
I was able to open my Excel document in Libre Calc with the Open With option on my mouse.

Expected Results:
It worked finally.

Reproducible: Always

This is an update by the submitter of Bug 113748 regarding that problem. It should not have been opened in a new bug report, but rather added as a comment to the existing one. However, since you asked so nicely, I've cleaned up both of them. I'm glad you have solved your problem.
