Description Chnutz 2017-11-14 09:14:56 UTC
Description:
Since I use WIN 10, every time, when Thunderbird recognizes spam, the program freezes for about 90 seconds. In the same time, OpenOffice or LibreOffice freezes, too.
This is the bug report für TB:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1396214

I tried it with safe mode:
1.) Windows Normal Mode | Thunderbird Normal Mode | Error
2.) Windows Normal Mode | Thunderbird Safe Mode | Error
3.) Windows Safe Mode | Thunderbird Normal Mode | Fine
3.) Windows Safe Mode | Thunderbird Safe Mode | Not tested

So I want to ask you, if you have an idea, what WIN 10 component could used by LO AND TB and could be responsible for this?!
This happens only on WIN 10, not on any other system.

Thank you and Greetings
Chnutz vom Hopfen

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Thunderbird open.
2. LibreOffice/OpenOffice open
3. Receive Spam

I've created a test account for you with thunderbirdtest@chnutz.de.
If you give me a mail adress, I'll send you the login data

Actual Results:
OO/LO freezes as long as TB freezes (about 90 sec)
No other software is affected, only TB and LO/OO
Windows task manager while freezing: CPU 0 - 0.3%, memory TB av. 140 - 160 MB

Expected Results:
No frrezing :-)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
I don't try to reset my user profile, I totally delete it and use another software (first OpenOffice, then LibreOffice) - without any effect to the bug

I read the comments in the Mozilla report and I don't think this has anything to do with LibreOffice. Closing.
