Do you have Java on the Windows?
Comment 3 Buovjaga 2017-11-16 16:10:43 UTC
(In reply to Emil Tanev from comment #2)
> Do you have Java on the Windows?

Yes and it is chosen in LibO settings.
Comment 4 Emil Tanev 2017-11-16 18:05:33 UTC
The error message that causes the crash says Java needed.
Comment 5 Buovjaga 2017-11-17 17:48:39 UTC
I would ask you to get a backtrace of the crash, but unfortunately we don't have any Windows debug builds available :(
Comment 6 Dieter 2017-11-19 14:47:54 UTC
Emil, do you have the 64Bit version of Java?
Comment 7 Emil Tanev 2017-11-20 11:28:41 UTC
Not on the computer where I found tha crash.
Comment 8 Dieter 2017-11-20 13:15:45 UTC
I'm not an expert, but as far as I know it is necessary to install Java 64Bit, if you work with the 64Bit-version of LO (once I had some problems with Java too, because of that reason). So does the crash also occur with Java 64Bit? => Set to NEEDINFO. Please change it back to UNCONFIRMED if the crash still ocuurs.
Comment 9 Emil Tanev 2017-11-20 14:27:42 UTC
Well, it is the error message that says Java is needed that causes the crash.
Comment 10 Xisco Faulí 2018-01-10 11:48:35 UTC
Does it happens if you choose another type of file instead?
Comment 11 Emil Tanev 2018-01-10 18:20:20 UTC
I tried to reproduce in a recent build and was not able to. After adding the illegal file I get the warning message but the application does not hang.
