About LibreOffice dialog shows all buttons colored

Clicking any LibreOffice menu item resulting in a dialog shows all (or nearly all) of the buttons inappropriately receiving the highlight color. This happened when I upgraded macOS to High Sierra (v. 10.13.1). (It also began happening with OpenOffice.)
