Description Jim Raykowski 2017-12-05 08:21:29 UTC
Selecting 'General' formatting causes the 'Decimal places' edit box to be set to empty but the next + or - continues from the previous displayed value.

Steps to reproduce

1) Enter 123456 in a cell
2) menu Format > Cells...
3) Enter 5 in 'Decimal places' edit spin box
4) Click on 'General' in 'Format' list box
5) In the 'Decimal places' edit spin box click on +

Decimal places spin box display changes from empty to 6.

Would it be better to change from empty to 1?

Yep, would be logical.
