Description: Hi, today I wanted to add an IF-Function to a table in document (using LibreOffice Writer) and realized that it is not working. I only get a "Expression is faulty" (in german "Fehlerhafter Ausdruck"). Would be great being able to use all the functions known from Calc in the Writer. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a table to your writer document with some data 2. Add a IF-Function to this table 3. You get an error message Actual Results: Error message Expected Results: Working function Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 5.4.3.2 Build-ID: 1:5.4.3~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo1 CPU-Threads: 8; Betriebssystem:Linux 4.4; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: gtk2; Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0

Writer does not have an IF function in tables. Available is only a subset of functions, listed when you click the function (fx) icon after having typed = in a table cell.
Shall I open a new (bug) report for a feature request (this was what this report was mentioned for).
I doubt anyone wants to implement more sophisticated functions for Writer tables. If you need spreadsheet functionality then use a Calc spreadsheet and copy&paste the relevant selected cells as Calc object to Writer to create an embedded spreadsheet excerpt.
