Description Eyal Rozenberg 2017-12-21 20:37:08 UTC
Description:
So, I just started up LibreOffice 6.0.0.0b2 on my Linux Mint 18.3 (XFCE 4 desktop environment), and - I see the navigation bar rendering is messed up; see attachment.

Now, I'm pretty sure this is a dupe, so don't hesitate to mark it as such, but better to report than to be sorry later.

Steps to Reproduce:
I can't really reproduce it! If I close and re-open it doesn't happen. However, I've had all sorts of weird sidebar rendering issues for many months now, with 5.x versions as well. Not this particular issue though.

Actual Results:
N/A

Expected Results:
N/A

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I started writer with libreoffice --writer from the Alt+F2 launcher.

Actually, the secnd screenshot doesn't show this, but I did see the full selected items extruding from the sidebar area into the actual document pane. Taking the screenshot made this magically disappear somehow.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Comment 5 Eyal Rozenberg 2018-06-12 11:44:04 UTC
I haven't been able to reproduce this for a while now (among other things, I updated my LO version).

Hey, wait a minute, did you even read my earlier comments? You've made the exact same comment on another issue of mine. Is this some automatic mechanism? No no, that won't do.

No, it's not an automated message, just a template I use sometimes.
Could you please try it? If it's not reproducible, we can close it as RESOLVED WORKSFORME
