Description: It seems that the "Slides Per Row" setting is recorded if the filesave occurs with Impress in Normal view mode, but not if it is in Slide Sorter view mode. It would be preferable if this behavior was consistent across view modes -- especially, to save Slides Per Row in Slide Sorter view, the context in which it actually matters. Steps to Reproduce: Case A: 1. Create an Impress file with several pages (e.g., 10) 2. Switch to Slide Sorter view 3. Set Slides Per Row from default 4 to 5 4. Save file 5. Re-open file Case B: 1. Repeat steps 1-3 above 2. Switch to Normal view 4. Save file 5. Re-open file Actual Results: Case A (saved in Slide Sorter view): Opened file has default 4 Slides Per Row Case B (saved in Normal view): Opened file has 5 Slides Per Row. Expected Results: In Case A, we would expect to see 5 Slides Per Row (same as Case B) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Save Slides Per Row consistently in any view, especially Slide Sorter view. Created attachment 138740 [details] Case A Example Case A: At time of saving, Impress was in Slide Sorter view with Slides Per Row set to 5. However, when opening this file we see Slides Per Row reset to default 4.
Created attachment 138741 [details] Case B Example Case B: At time of saving, Impress was in Normal with Slides Per Row set to 5. When opening this file (and switching to Slide Sorter view), we see that Slides Per Row is maintained at the user-selected 5.

Tried to test with 3.3, but sadly it crashes upon creating a new slide on my system... probably some tantrum regarding dependencies. So this is probably inherited from OOo, but leaving version at 3.6.7.2 Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 2d8f17565ebe867210f5769851d91b2e7b612a8f CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.14; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded Built on January 27th 2018 Arch Linux 64-bit Version 3.6.7.2 (Build ID: e183d5b)

Reproduced, bug still exists in 6.1.4.2 (x64). (Note comment from Buovjaga 2018-01-27 above: Attempted to replicate with 3.3, but application crashes on new slide creation; so, unclear if inherited from OOo.)
Tested with 3.3.0 on Win and it is the same.
