Description drawbar 2018-01-11 15:28:37 UTC
Description:
Case 1.The SVG file which has a hyperlink for its one of objects, which is exported by LibreOffice Draw can't work for indicating that it is a link object by hand-icon (Mouse pointer doesn't change to hand-icon even if I put the mouse on the object): The case of Chrome and Opera

Case 2.If there is a text object on the SVG file that is set color other than black and has a hyperlink, its color is canceled to black color of the default on some modern browsers. In that case, user cannot find that it is a text hyperlinked: The case of Chrome and Opera

In the case of above, though that hyperlink works if a user clicks that object.

If you use Firefox or IE 11, you don't encounter above cases. These do render the SVG that from LibreOffice correctly.

I have found these issues using Windows 8.1 64bit and Firefox, IE11, Chrome, Opera.

I hope that someone picks up this bottle-mail, its words work correctly for understanding and someone resolves this issue. thank you.

Steps to Reproduce:
for Case 1:
1.create a text.
2.set the text hyperlink.
3.export the file as an SVG.
4.open the SVG file by each mainly modern browsers.

for Case 2:
1.create a text.
2.set to the text any color other than black.
3.set the text hyperlink.
4.export the file as an SVG.
5.open the SVG file by each mainly modern browsers.

Actual Results:
Actual(bad) results are the view and feature of the SVG file by Chrome and Opera at least.

Expected Results:
Expected results are the view and feature of the SVG file by Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

hi,Buovjaga
thank you for your comment.

yes, the original Draw file is already uploaded as attachments above when I reported this issue the first time(that file is same as 'attachment 139051 [details]').

The attachments "SVG file including the texts with the hyperlink" is the original file that exported from Draw, but the file is also just the SVG code.

1. You may open the attachments by firefox first.
2. then open same attachments file with google chrome browser.

Everybody can find the difference the appearance and so on of the file in between firefox and chrome.

You can download as an SVG file from the 'Attachments' link by 'Save as link...' of the menu that can be displayed with right click on the hyperlink text.

It's helpful to tell me furthermore if I have the misunderstanding.

thank you.

A Draw file is .odg, not an .svg. We need the original to be able to test the export (also in the future).

Ok, I confirm with Chrome. Notice: the link text is blue and only turns black after you click it.
Cursor pointer is arrow instead of hand.

We have a policy of having one report per issue, but these are both minor styling issues connected with the link, so I don't know if we should bother splitting this.

Thank you for your time. It's unfortunate the difference of appearance due to the environment(Linux 64bit). I'm living on Earth yet and using Linux on backup PC. With 'chromium'-browser on Linux(32bit), Mouse cursor doesn't become an arrow when it on the text hyperlink, further, these hyperlinked texts are colored with black from the beginning as not same of the ODG file.

Anyway, Exporting SVG file including objects that hyperlinked by Draw is not all of my life but it might be useful for many people. I've reported the fact I confirmed with the first post of this thread as the offering that either bug or seems like a bug(and as I made this thread with selected 'Windows(All)' in the option). So All I can do for this issue is that.

I intend to wait for resolving with not expect too much.

windows 7 - 10 (64 bit);

Actually I might have typed it wrong: I think the cursor was not an arrow, but like a text selection cursor.

I exported the file on Linux, but I tested it in browsers on Windows.

Dear drawbar,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team
