Description Jim Avera 2018-01-20 01:04:14 UTC
Description:
A "conduit" database to a spreadsheet seems to hang in 5.4.5 if done immediately after Edit->Database->Properties->Test Connection

The drop-down menu in this bug form does not offer 5.4.5 as an option.

I downloaded

https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-5-4/Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@70-TDF//current/libreoffice-5-4~2018-01-19_15.51.57_LibreOfficeDev_5.4.5.0.0_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz

Steps to Reproduce:
1. mkdir /tmp/lobug
   Download the attached db.odb and spreadsheet.xls to /tmp/lobug/
   cd /tmp/lobug

2. /path/to/soffice --safe-mode ./db.odb
   Click "Continue in Safe Mode"
   Edit->Database->Properties->Test Connection
     Should succeed (correct path should already be there)
     click OK
   File->Exit
     Click "SAVE" in the pop-up

Actual Results:
Hangs

Expected Results:
Normal exit

Reproducible: Always

Yes, it seems to be in the 5.x series only
Comment 5 Timur 2018-01-23 16:27:44 UTC
If not in 6.1, then it's WFM. Didn't test myself.
