Description Dan Dascalescu 2018-01-20 12:55:54 UTC
When I attempt to update a Link to external data, I get "Unable to insert rows". I have no idea why. I can update from the same data source in another sheet, so probably something's wrong with the current sheet layout, but I don't see any merged cells or anything.

Can that message please be made more specific, so the user has a chance at debugging the problem? *Why* was Calc unable to insert rows?
Comment 1 Timur 2018-01-22 09:44:35 UTC
Please give steps, check whether it's about specific document and attach minimal test document, or it's a general issue.
Comment 2 Dan Dascalescu 2018-01-22 12:15:05 UTC
@Timur: that's exactly the point - the message should tell the user at least where the problem is: with the URL (e.g. fetching it failed), or with the document (e.g. inserting the rows didn't work, and the reason why).

Hi Dan,
What Timur is asking is for the steps needed in order to show the "Unable to insert rows" message...
