So Tools - Options - Load/Save - General: Always create a backup copy?
Did the copying to a DVD drive work before?
How is the DVD burning set up, then? I mean I've always used a separate software to burn DVDs (back when I still burned them), so it sounds strange.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

There was a bug fixed yesterday regarding optical media: bug 115383
