Description Matthias 2018-02-05 13:40:38 UTC
Description:
If you insert an horizontal image in Writer an then rotate it 90° (left or right) and then insert a caption, the image will be cut an the frame of the caption isn't fit to the rotated image.
It worked well in 5.4.4.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.insert an horizontal image in Writer
2. rotate image 90°
3.insert a caption

Actual Results:
The image is changed: top an bottom ist croped.
Frame of caption fits to non-rotated image.

Expected Results:
Like in 5.4.4: Frame of caption fits to rotated image an the image isn't croped.

Reproducible: Always

RotateFlyFrame3: Initial support added
First steps to get a rotated FlyFrame and content
that only uses layouted sizes/positions and does not
change the model data (except rotation). This works
with persistence, after reload the rotation can be
resetted with going back to the original FrameSize.
Lot of stuff not yet working, experimental state.

but at this problem, the issue with the caption is already reproducible.

Dupe shows that one does not need to have a caption: it is enough to have an image anchored As character and then rotate it 90°

Example file is attachment 145542 [details] from the duplicate, rotate 90 degrees left/right is bad since above commit without even adding a caption.

Please have a look at the dupe bug 147757. In that bug, I observe that the frame dimensions does not respect the rotation even in cases where there's no cropping.
