Description:
- Started LibreOffice by double-clicking .xls spreadsheet file in file browser
- Logo/loading dialog appears
- Within a second GUI was completely unresponsive, only mouse pointer could be moved. Also no way to break out to text console using Ctrl-Alt-F1. 
- Had to do hard shutdown to restart

System is Xubuntu 16.04

System freezes

- System has been running for almost a year now without any such problems, so even though this might be kernel-associated it only has been triggered by LO so far.

Due to the crash I do not remember exactly which file I tried to open. Can't reproduce this with other files I tried. I will report whenever this happens again.
