Hello Piero, If I create a formula form scratch, I can't reproduce it in Version: 6.0.1.1 Build ID: 1:6.0.1~rc1-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: ca-ES (ca_ES.UTF-8); Calc: group Please attach a sample document, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FAQ#How_can_I_eliminate_confidential_data_from_a_sample_document.3F for help on how to do so.) I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Re-tested in safe mode. I confirm the bug
Does it happen if you call LibreOffice like SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen soffice ?
I called SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen soffice and tried. The bug persists. Maybe should I add that everything works fine if I select the formula as an object (by clicking on it) and then copy it. The bug is generated only when I try to copy a formula which is anchored to the textline and selected as a piece of text. I tested and confirm this behaviour in the three (standard, safe and SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen) modes.

Could you please create and attach a screencast showing the steps? There are various free screencast software available for use, including Camstudio (Windows), Jing (Mac), Simple Screen Recorder (Linux) or screencast-o-matic.com (Web).
Created attachment 140019 [details] Screencast movie of the bug Here is a screencast documentation of object copy working fine vs text copy going stuck
Also no repro in Ubuntu 16.04 x64. Piero, if you don't figure out the problem, others are not likely to do it.
After some testing I found: same bug when I select and copy - any OLE object anchored as a character - an anchored text box On the other hand the bug doesn't arise when I select and copy - an anchored shape - an anchored frame - an anchored fontwork - a comment - a footnote pointer Meanwhile I have uninstalled and reinstalled the whole suite
Bug is solved in update 6.0.2.1
(In reply to Piero Chessa from comment #15) > Bug is solved in update 6.0.2.1 Thanks for retesting with the latest version. Setting to RESOLVED WORKSFORME as the commit fixing this issue hasn't been identified.
