Description Frank 2018-02-14 16:54:36 UTC
Description:
Periodically when I start Libre Office (Version: 5.4.2.2) I receive the following message in a pop-up:

SOFFICE.BIN Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142).
Click OK to close the application.

When I click OK sometimes the app closes and sometimes it does not. Libre Office runs OK whether I get the message or I don't.

Could you update to last stable LO version 5.4.5? (You may also try the brand new 6.0.1)
Also, you can rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows) and give a new try.

You must check too that if you use LO 32 bits, you must have Java 32 bits and of course if you use LO 64 bits, you must have Java 64 bits.

Thank you for your feedback. Since there's no specific fix, let's put this one to WFM.
