Sheet showing the problem

Version: 5.4.4.2 (x64)
Build ID: 2524958677847fb3bb44820e40380acbe820f960
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1; UI render: default;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); Calc: group

Clicking on cell A2 in the attached shows, in the status bar

Count: 2; CountA: 2

Even worse, highlighting cells A1 up to and including A47 shows, in the status bar

Count: 56; CountA: 57

And just as bad, highlighting cells B1 through B6 shows, in the status bar

Average: 3.28571428571429; Count: 7; CountA: 8; Sum: 23

With the latter four in the status-bar, just scrolling through row 2 will show all kinds of "interesting" values that have nothing to do with the actual values of the cells!

Note that I have not tried to reduce the sheet to something minimalistic.

This is awkward, the results mentioned earlier disappeared after reloading the sheet. FWIW, the sheet was originally loaded after an other sheet that was updated with values from the attached one.

I will try to recreate what I've done using backups.

You are urgently recommended to upgrade to Version 5.4.5 due to security issue:

Comment 4 robert 2018-02-18 16:40:44 UTC
I've spent the last hours trying to recreate the problem by restoring both sheets from backups. Sadly it didn't result in the same problem, possibly because this morning I had to actually close LO because it hung, after which I cancelled the recovery, which still left a .lock file (deleted manually). Trying to repeat the steps I made this morning, as much as I could remember, did not result in the same problem, but it most certainly was present.

If this problem occurs again, I will actually take a video of the screen, and either upload that here, or to my Google drive.

If you recreate with steps, please set back to Unconfirmed.
