Description: Pasting results from a Query in LO Base into LO Calc works fine IF there is no calculated fields. However, when pasting from LO Base that has at least on calculatd field the HD light will be active but no transfer of data will occur. The example I have is an Apartment Search database with a RENT field and a DAMAG_DEPOSIT field that is 'RENT / 2'. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a Query that contains at least one calclated field (Base) 2. Click on the 'empty square' at the top left to select the whol table. 3. Switch to Calc. Right-click on Paste. 4. Disk light flashes but no transfer of data occrs. Actual Results: Nothing. Expected Results: All data from Base Query appear in Calc cells. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 6.0.1.1 Build ID: 60bfb1526849283ce2491346ed2aa51c465abfe6 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); Calc: group User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
What happens pasting with Data to text icon over the query view?
I'm not sure which icon you're talking about? I found that if I use Paste Special in Calc it will import the data.
Created attachment 140084 [details] Screenshot The icon highlighted with blue just over the tip 'Data to text' This also create a link to the data so it's possible update with Menu/Data/Refresh range without open the database when in a cell of the result range.
