Try to zoom out to view 4 or more pages altogether 3. Actual Results: LO Writer is getting really slow Expected Results: It shoult perform faster. With the Memory Settings in LO 5 it did. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
It's still possible to change the memory settings. Their corresponding settings are /org.openoffice.Office.Common/Cache/GraphibManager/TotalCacheSize /org.openoffice.Office.Common/Cache/GraphibManager/ObjectCacheSize /org.openoffice.Office.Common/Cache/GraphibManager/ObjectReleaseTime /org.openoffice.Office.Common/Cache/DrawingEngine/OLE_Objects and this setting seems to depend on latter: /org.openoffice.Office.Common/Cache/Writer/OLE_Objects See bug 110448 The following project my help to (for the future): Improving the image handling in LibreOffice - Part 1 (https://tomazvajngerl.blogspot.nl)
