Description Pierre-Alain Dorange 2018-03-03 07:22:04 UTC
With MACOS X (and its fucking protection) i cannot launch LibreOffice 6.
At the first launch MacOS do it "checking" (to make sure the software was not damaged or contain a virus or something like this).
This process was longer and longer. Now with LO6 it consumes 40 GB of memory (i do not have this amount of course) and slow down the computer until it freeze !

Component isn't Base, the database-part of LO. It seems to be the whole LibreOffice.
Comment 2 Pierre-Alain Dorange 2018-03-04 09:17:20 UTC
With MacOS X 10.9 LibrOffice 6 can be used by specifying the security option to "Allow any application" (it seems to remove all secutiy check). Then the MacOS checking is fast and LO works.
But on more recent MACOS i thought this option do not exist anymore.

This problem is solved by :
1. Launch LibreOffice the first time without applying the localization translation.
2. Apply the localization

MacOS X protection can check the origin and validate only the original (english) application.
When LibreOffice was localized (translated), MacOS X Cannot check the application and so fail to launch it.
