MS Office has a nice information rights management feature, where one can restrict permissions to a document, and if you can not identify yourself to the local AD server as one of the people with permissions to read/edit, you won't get the keys needed to decrypt the file.

Official user documentation for this feature:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/information-rights-management-in-office-c7a70797-6b1e-493f-acf7-92a39b85e30c

LO currently does not support this at all, but it would be nice to.
