I am not sure whether the behavior of 6.0 is correct or the one of 5.x. In any case it looks different on 6.0.2.1 than on 5.4.4 and 5.3.6.
Could you please explain what the problem is? Besides, a screenshot compating the behaviour in 6.0 and previous versions would be nice. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the information has been answered

textlayoutissue536 I created in 5.3.6. Just a text box and two fonts, and changed some paragraph settings.

I have attached another example where I copied the text box and pasted it as bitmap. I originallky used GDI, because bitmap does not exactly match the text box, but it seems that bitmap makes more sense.

The light blue bitmap is how it looks like in 5.3.6. The white text is supposed to match that. In 6.0.2 it does not.
Hi Gerard, can we reduce this test case a bit? If you were to create a document with just the text, could you give us step by step instructions how you made it in LO 5.3.6? We could then bibisect this a bit more easily.

Gerhard, please test this again with a recent daily build, and preferably compare against 5.3.7 or 5.4.4. I see a slight difference with attachment 140482 [details] ("A new sample file based on 5.3.6"), but it would be best if you could confirm. Same with any other examples, ie. not sure what attachment 140515 [details] (" Replacement for sample based on 5.3.6, but with bitmap instead of GDI") should look like, I'm checking against 5.4.0 (not the best choice, but that's what I have at hand right now), and the previously mentioned sample is aligned perfectly, but this one isn't.
It looks okay. I am not sure why it takes forever to load the file, but it looks good. Any of the examples actually.
