Backtrace created with windbg

Hi there,

LO Calc keeps crashing after I start type something into a cell or open any .xls file.

It is on win10 x86_64, fresh install.

I have created a backtrace. I hope it helps!

Thanks

According to the backtrace, it seems linked to a dictionary.

For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows) and give a new try?

I have already deleted "%APPDATA%\libreoffice\4\user" directory and after it's been recreated by LO, it didn't help.
And as I mentioned It was a fresh OS install, no other version was installed before.
On the other hand, I experienced the phenomenon in all LO application after typing the first character, the application crashes.
Can it be caused by the anti-virus software?

Does the crash happen with a daily build? https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Win-x86_64@42/current/
It installs separately.

I installed the latest build, no crash at typing, but neither dictionary installed. So maybe do bug has ben fixed or the lack of any dictionary causing stable typing. I don't know.
Maybe it is important to mention that I have a hungarian version of LO.

Try installing the Hungarian dictionary into the master build.

The Hungarian dictionaries are in '<install directory>\share\extensions\dict-hu', copy that over into the daily build's otherwise empty '<install directory>\share\extensions\' directory (the whole 'dict-hu' directory itself). You can of course copy all the dictionaries and bundled extensions if you wish.

Ok. This build seems to work fine with hungarian dictionary. I did what you suggested, and the dictionary for hungarian language works fine without any crash.

Thanks a lot!

Great, let's close.

It would be good to know why it crashes in 6.0.2.1, and what could've fixed the issue in 6.1.
I can't reproduce the crash with Hungarian locale and typing in LO 6.0.2.1 / Windows 7.

I have installed this version already on several computer with win7, there were no issue. It seems the problem bind to win10 somehow.
It would be nice to have a workaround until the next release will comes out.

I have installed LO 6.0.3.1 pre-release, the issue still persists.

When I switch off "Check spelling as you type" it works until I press F7.
Is there any fix or workaround before the 6.1 release comes out?

Thanks in advance!

It seems only the hungarian dictionary causing this phenomenon, the english spellchecking works fine. Can I copy the hungarian dictionary from 6.1 to 6.0.2?

And only with 64 bit version the application keeps crashing...

Gyula, can you please give a try with the 6.0.3.2 pre-release from here:
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/win/x86_64/

It's fresh, and contains an important fix concerning the Hungarian spell checker. Thanks!
