Description calderman 2018-03-13 20:17:55 UTC
Description:
This is new to 6.0.2.1.
After a few minutes of working in a new Writer file, the spell check stops working. Running Spell Check reports no errors, even if there are errors.
I can copy text with errors, start a new Writer file and past without formatting, and the errors do show. But even in the new file, after a while, the spell check stops reporting errors.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new Writer file.
2. Work in it for some time. Sorry, don't know how long.
3. Spell Check stops reporting errors.

Actual Results:
I don't know how to reproduce. But it has happened in several new files.

Expected Results:
Spell Check has worked in previous releases.

Reproducible: Always

Hi calderman,

I don't reproduce with
LO 6.0.2.1 Build ID: f7f06a8f319e4b62f9bc5095aa112a65d2f3ac89
CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1; UI render: default;
Locale: en-US (fr_FR); Calc: CL
Perhaps a windows 10 only issue?
Comment 2 calderman 2018-03-14 18:05:06 UTC
The issue was in some Paragraph Styles which were inheriting properties from another style.

When I reset the inherit option to "None", the spell check worked as expected.
