Description:
If you insert multiple linked images in a page, it keeps redrawing the images over and over. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy over included files and put in /tmp
2. Open file which references linked bitmaps in /tmp
3. See screen redraw repeatedly

Actual Results:  
Infinite loop of redraw

Expected Results:
Less redrawing


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

I was able to reproduce this on KDE as well.

Not seeing such behaviour. Tried also with gtk2 and gtk3 backends (with 6.1).

I just tried again with LO 6.0.3 and still repro it.

Can you reproduce it in Safe Mode? Help - Restart in safe mode and then Continue in safe mode.

I wasn't able to repro it in Safe mode. I also renamed my .config/libreoffice directory and let it re-create a new one and that seemed to make it disappear also. My configuration is generic except some custom words and Lightproof, which was even disabled along with Java. Anyway, I'm sort of curious to know what about my config could be causing problems but if it's not something other people will run into then it's no big deal.

You can zip up your old config directory and attach it here. Maybe someone can study it.
