under Linux (Mint 18.3) the templates of LibreOffice 5 are still stored under .config > libreoffice > 4 > user > template
Please move templates to 
.config > libreoffice > 5 > user > template

That's intentionally left at 4 as there wasn't a change in LO 5.x that would need the migration, so we don't want to do the potentially error prone migration just because to change a number. There is also no 6 directory with LO 6.x.

I guess we can close this one as a duplicate of bug 93057 as we have done with other bugs.
I guess we don't need to create a bug if we need to change the folder name in the future
