Description VV 2018-03-20 18:39:25 UTC
Description:
SW behavior has changed from the previous versions and does not work properly:
1) pasting unformatted text in a single column using "paste special" erases 2-3 columns adjacent to the right; in previous version the same merely substitued content of a single column

2) if multiple cells are copied, they stay in the "clipboard", despite new data has been copied from outised of the program. example: copy cells A1:C1 to A3:C3 then open textEdit and copy a number (3) from there, in cell G1 try to write "=A1+<paste>", but pasting merely enters content A1:C1 that remained in the clipboard

Actual Results:
see description above

Expected Results:
see description above

Reproducible: Always

Not reproduced. LibreOffice 6.0.2.1, macOS 10.12.6

VV: this happens to you on completely fresh documents as well?

Tested point 1.
No repro with LO6021.

1) Created 3 column Calc sheet containing text values with 13 rows.
2) Copied random piece of text from Wikipedia (loaded in Firefox).
3) Pasted special (Shift-Cmd-V) the copied text from buffer into column A, line 1 (cell A1).
4) Get dialog about type of text insertion desired, chose Unformatted Text. Only cell A1 has content change, no changes to other cells.

My tests were carried out on macOS 10.13.3

@VV : please provide detailed steps for reproducing the issue under point (1) in your original submission.

Two people have tried to reproduce this, with different versions of macOS (10.12 and 10.13), so either we are missing some vital piece of information on how to reproduce it, or else the problem is limited to either macOS 10.11 and/or your particular setup.

Setting to NEEDINFO pending requested information.
