Description:
It is quite annoying to not be able to edit a *.ods attachment from mail id. Each time we have to save it to make the file editable. 
Is there any option to disable this "read only" feature?
If you already have one, please guide me to activate it. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1.opening an attachment from the mail
2.not able to edit
3.clicking save as & then be able to edit

Actual Results:  
Editable email attachment

Expected Results:
Editable email attachment

User Profile Reset: No


OpenGL enabled: Yes

I can click on "Edit document" and it works. Are you not seeing it? You said you are using version 4.1. It is quite old, so please try 6.0.x

I remember there was a change related to opening files from email.
