Description: If I select some charaters, which were added while change recording was enabled, I see accept / reject change in context menu even if the show track changes options is not enabled. So track changes are not visible in the text, but I can accept / reject it from menu. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attached document (Show tracking is enabled, so you can see the text which was recorded as insertion) 2. Disable show tracking 3. Click inside the text which was underlined before -> You can see accept / reject change in context menu Actual Results: Accept / reject change options are there in the context menu Expected Results: Accept / reject change options should not be in the menu, since change tracking is disabled. I confirm this behaviour. But I'd would like to ask Design Team, if this is a desired behaviour or not.
Show TC has the use case of cleaning up the document view from all modifications and to show the final result (or requested in bug 116757 how it looked originally). For example, showing TC affects the line breaks. It's not meant to block the function completely. You may have the context menu in mind but there is the TC toolbar too, and (in experimental mode) the sidebar deck, that provide access to functions. So while I agree that it's suboptimal for the context menu, it WFM and it's a WF.
