Description:
Transparency gradient is not saved in the master slide.
When file is opened again, the gradient is lost and the fields are reverted to an instransparent color again.




Steps to Reproduce:
1.configure transparency gradient in master slide
2.check that the slides have the gradient inherited
3.save and reopen
4.gradient is gone.

Actual Results:  
gradient is gone

Expected Results:
gradient remains


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes



Additional Info:
OS is Xubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
Impress version is 5.1.6~rc2~0ubuntu1~xenial3 (according to synaptic)

Thank you for reporting the bug.
it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

I've purged the old installation and installed version 6. (LibreOffice 6.0.3.2 00m0(Build:2))

However, the issue still persists.

So you are right-clicking the master slide - properties - transparency - gradient. You also set a colour?
I don't get a gradient at all, no need to save and reload.

It is the title's textfield, set to have a linear gradient from white 0% opacity to white 100% opacity.

When I open the pptx in Impress here, opacity is fine now
