Open Writer, Spreadsheet, Presentation or Drawing.. 2. Move mouse to the right vertical panel 3. Hover the mouse over the buttons 4. Read the text Expected results: The text pops up on the left side and the user is able to read it. Actual results: The text pops up on the right side and part of it is cut. User is not able to read it. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Set to UNCONFIRMED The issue is still present after restarting in safe mode and testing it again. Have you tested it with 1366x768 resolution?

Confirmed, on Windows 10 Ent 64-bit en-US with Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1 (x64) Build ID: cb47f0d320994e001bc38dc2ee9b7d957b15e6ab CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group Issue manifests on dual headed systems. If you disable the secondary monitor in your DE, the tooltips (actually the virtual canvas) will not extend off the primary monitor. None the less the behavior is annoying if that is not the desired screen handling, common on asymetrically sized monitor pairings. But it is what I prefer on matched 24" monitors.
Indeed it is caused by a dual monitor setup. Just tested it on laptop only and no issue found. It is not good when pairing two different screens and especially when one is above the other.
