Description Andrea Cavanna 2018-05-02 11:40:08 UTC
Recently I had this funny problem using Writer.
By printing a one page document in the printer form the number of copies to be printed increased automatically. But only with Libre Office Writer. With other programs the problem did not arise.
I installed the latest version of Libre Office but the problem was still present.
After half a day we found that the anomaly was due to the mouse batteries. It was a wireless mouse. Using a normal wired mouse and having changed the batteries the problem was gone.
Thanks for the attention.
Andrew

By default, the focus in the print dialog is on the number of copies spin button.
What happens if using the same mouse you click on another spin button?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' once retested

The number of copies increases automatically without any action.
The number of copies increases as the print dialogue appears.
I tried to reduce the copies but immediately start to increase.
I think it was an interference of the mouse that sends the click without any pressure.
I sent this post for information, because I did not find anything on the forums about this funny mystery.
