Description Janis Klava 2018-05-22 08:42:47 UTC
Description:
While looking for a default setting for paper size in Options, clicked on "enable Gl" and restarted office as per instructions.

Office restarted but is corrupted, menus appear and disappear as mouse rides over, cannot get back into Options to disable GL

If GL causes these things why have it ??

Getting back to my needs, how does one enable A4 as a default paper size for all of Office so as not to have to reset it every time one starts a new document ?? Letter is the U.S. default, A4 in Europe

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select "Options"
2.Enable GL
3.Restart LibreOffice

Actual Results:
can't get back into a working mode to select Options

1.select "Options"
2.Enable GL
3.Restart LibreOffice

Expected Results:
hoped to have a working Office but opened corrupted and cannot get back into Options to disable GL

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

This is a support request and not a bug report. Please use a channel listed in https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/ for such.

You can try to open the Options-dialog via short-cut Alt+F12. Navigate to LibreOffice > View via arrow-keys. Then use tab to go to "Use OpenGL for all rendering". Change checkbox via space-bar.

Or open -while LibreOffice is closed- the file registrymodifications.xcu in the user profile folder with an editor. Search for "UseOpenGL" and in the same line change <value>true</value> to <value>false</value>.
