Description:
Further to bug report 117747 which referrered only to cursor blinking which couldn't be stopped in Writer -

I tried Safe Mode & Continue in Safe Mode but the cursor blinking continued. 

I checked out the cursor in the other LibreOffice packages (Calc, Impress etc) and all had the same problem on my machine.  As previously other parts of system have the static cursor that I want

Steps to Reproduce:
1.got to Keyboard in System Settings
2.blank out cursor blinking
3.open a piece of LibreOffice software

Actual Results:  
cursor blinks

Expected Results:
cursor not blinking


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes

Could you please create and attach a screencast showing the steps?
There are various free screencast software available for use, including Camstudio (Windows), Jing (Mac), Simple Screen Recorder (Linux) or screencast-o-matic.com (Web).
