In LibreOffice 5 I can connect to my database via ODBC, but in LibreOffice 6 I get this error: --- SQL Status: 01000 [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/odbc/libtdsodbc.so' : file not found --- I've checked and the file is there: --- $ file '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/odbc/libtdsodbc.so' /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/odbc/libtdsodbc.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, BuildID[sha1]=307e2b20ed1be01cab757c3ecd4d6e85f4a18b7b, stripped ---

I just noticed this link: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12031897/missing-libtdsodbc-so-in-freetds-dev-mssql-on-ubuntu which resembles your pb. Of course, perhaps you already read it.
I think I might have missed this one. I'll follow that lead and report back if I had any success.
