Problem description:

When renaming a column in the data sheet, the pivot table that refers to the data sheet loses the column when we refresh it.

I have performed the test on Excel 2016 and the behavior of calc is similar to it. the pivot table(s) that refer to it lost the column when we refresh them.

Is this a normal behavior for calc or is it a bug?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the attached file "test.ods".
2. Go in sheet "BASE 2017", rename the column "Type" to "Toto".
3. Go in sheet "TCD SUIVI DE MISE EN PLACE" and refresh the table.
4. The column "Type" disappear.

Hi Salim,
I reproduce with
LO 6.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 23c5125148a8110d88385b29570bf0b7d4400458
CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1; UI render: default;
TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-12_00:15:25
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); Calc: CL
and
LO 3.6.7.2 (Build ID: e183d5b)
so probably inherited from OOo.
Once changed and refreshed, the new name is available, but has to be introduced again into the layout.

Hello,

There is no indication of such behavior in the help, probably a bug.
Comment 4 Michael Meeks 2018-05-28 18:01:52 UTC
Surely this can be improved by adding suitable dependencies on the column titles - but its an enhancement =)

Same problem with LibreOffice version 6.0.4.2 build 1:6.0.4~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 under Linux Mint MATE.
I see this as a bug because the goal of a spreadsheet is to automatically update the content of all the cells that are linked to the content of a modified cell.

Bug still existing in LibreOffice version Version 6.4.4.2.

Thank you David for the confirmation, but the version field is the first with the issue, so we have to keep it to inherited from OOo.
