Description: 1. Work on a spreadsheet for some time, create multiple additional sub-sheets 2. Double click formulas referring to some sub-sheets and go to the source 3. Cell highlighting does not work, need to manually look for row/column to find the source This has happened to me every since I've been using LO from 5.3.7 onwards (including all version in between). I've tried multiple distributions, OpenSuse Leap 42.3, 15, Tumbleweed and Fedora 27 which their official build of LO and all show the same error in my .ods file. I have around 10 sheets within my spreadsheet. In most cases cell higlighting works fine, but there are 2-3 sheets where it doesn't work at all. So whenever I try to refer to that sub-sheet, cells won't be highlighted. I assume it has something to do with copy-pasting formulas to a new sheet or the way the sheet is created. Maybe a broken sub-sheet? Steps to Reproduce: 1. Work on a spreadsheet for some time, create multiple additional sub-sheets 2. Double click formulas referring to some sub-sheets and go to the source 3. Cell highlighting does not work, need to manually look for row/column to find the source Seems only to happen after working with a sheet for some time as it grows. Actual Results: The cell does not get highlighted (with a colored frame) Expected Results: Cell highlight works in every sub-sheet. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: OpenGL is disabled. Cannot enable OpenGL anyway because it introduces even worse bugs/weird behavior in LO's UI. This bug has been reported many time, e.g. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99705 and seems date back quite some time. I must say it's still there and it's very annoying. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0
Additional information: This happens with various laptops all with integrated GPU (HD 5500 and HD 620 tested) with different versions of Mesa 17.x and 18.x.
Seems like this is known: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41304 Happens with sheets whose names contain spaces. I can confirm this.
Cheers, let's close as duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 41304 ***
