Description: I frequently have to print 50+ copies of a one-page document. After updating from version 5.2.2.2 to version 6.0.4.2, Writer has changed from creating a single print job for that batch to creating a separate job for every single page that I have printed. This dramatically slows down the printing process, as the printer has to reset after every page. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a single-page document 2. Open the print queue 3. Print a large number of copies (10+) 4. Notice the large number of one-page jobs Actual Results: created a separate job for every single page Expected Results: Created a single job with the same page repeated Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36
Please see Bug 107416 and Bug 112607 (applicable only to 6.1). Please see option in Print dialog: File > Print > Options: "Create single print jobs for collated output"
@Timur With that checkbox unticked it doesn't play the melody after each finish. For example: if I select two copies of a document, it won't play the melody at the end of each. Maybe it should be unticked as default? Thanks!
