Description: When saving a spreadsheet LibreOffice 5.3.7.2.0+ (Build ID: 5.3.7.2-9.fc26) the dialog sometimes lists as the default name to save it under as the current filename with a trailing dot (but no extension after the "."). Normally the base part of the filename is highlighted and no dot or extension follows it, but sometimes a trailing dot is added and it is the only part of the filenamne that is highlighted. If I don't spot it then I might create a file named something this test1..html instead of test1.html. It happens often, for many files, over the last few versions of LibreOffice, but it doesn't happen every time... I had thought it occurs if and only if a numeric cell is selected when trying to save, but doesn't always happen, and sometimes occurs when a text cell is selected. It can happen several times in a row (with different cells selected at the time I save) then revert to normal and stay normal until I load another spreadsheet. I am not sure exactly which was the first version to have this bug. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a recent spreadsheet 2.possibly edit some cells 3. Choose "Save as" or Save a copy, and look at default name for saving - sometimes has a surplus "." character Actual Results: File name suggested by dialog might be "test." if current file is "test.ods" Expected Results: File name suggested should be "test" (without a dot) or possibly "test.ods" (or "test.html" if an HTML type is selected). Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 5.3.7.2.0+ Build ID: 5.3.7.2-9.fc26 CPU Threads: 2; OS Version: Linux 4.16; UI Render: default; VCL: gtk3; Layout Engine: new; Locale: en-NZ (en_NZ.UTF-8); Calc: group This releazse was supplied by the Fedora Project
