Hmm, no repro for me with:

Version: 6.1.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 8c76dfe1284e211954c30f219b3a38dcdd82f8a0
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.13.5; UI render: default;
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Calc: group

but I seem to recall that Xisco or Tor filed a similar bug about the recovery dialog repeated displaying itself.

With the version I tested above, the recovery dialog displays a second time after a seeming initial failure to recover the documents, then apparently manages to recover the documents and load them correctly.

My description is probably not to self-explaining; Restoring isn't the problem. After step 7 a dialog popups up as notification of the crash. LibreOffice gets unresponsive; I have to kill LibreOffice from the activity monitor

See also bug 117176 (where Xisco reported similar behaviour).
