Description David 2018-07-12 12:22:49 UTC
Description:
In LibreOffice Draw, the only way to delete a table is to use a workaround i.e. there is no Delete Table option.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a table
2. Select Table
3. Try pressing Delete

Actual Results:
The table is NOT deleted.

Expected Results:
A selected table should be deleted when the DELETE key is pressed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Currently, the workarounds to delete a table in Draw are:
1. Select table and then click Delete Row or Delete Column
2. Draw a square object beside the table then lasso both the table and the new object and press delete.

The solution is to simply add Delete Table to the Edit menu so that we have a logical method to remove it along the lines of what you'd expect.

You can delete a table, but it only works, if you select it as an object. This is a bit fiddly: be in cell input mode, then click on any edge of the table. When you see no cell is selected, you can delete it. Bug 78326 is for this annoyance.
