don't repro in 6.1.0.2 Can you try latest fresh version 6.0.5 or latest build of version 6.1?
Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Comment on attachment 143749 [details] A simple document you can use to test this bug. In the old version of Word 2003, the option to add a comment to footnote text is disabled. So are comments even allowed in a footnote in docx?
Also in Word 2010, as soon as you enter into the footnote text, the "new comment" is disabled. Not an available feature for docx format then I assume.
