Description Robert Großkopf 2018-07-30 13:55:33 UTC
Don't know if this should be a feature:
Open LO 6.1.0.2.
Deactivate "Experimental features".
Open an existing internal Firebird database.
You could open the tables, input new values - no problems.
At the bottom of the window isn't written "Firebird: embedded".

No try to create a new database.
Try to choose "Firebird".
Isn't there.

You have to activate "Experimental features" for creating a new internal Firebird database, but you are able to work with an internal Firebird database without experimental features. If internal HSQLDB should be "deprecated" Firebird must not be experimental.

This is the expected behaviour. Please see bug 118751.
Closing as RESOLVED NOTABUG

reopened the original issue on this.

In 6.0 when experimental features are disabled a firebird base will not open, rather it throws and error that the sdbc driver is not recognized.
