Description: I am using Libreoffice versions 6.0.6.2 and 5.4.7.2, both of them got a problem when opening a specific xls file(that generated from a “template”). When opening the file an “import options” dialog pop-up and doesn’t matter what I will choose the file will open as empty file. We discover that the blue filled row + bold(that continue to infinity)in the top of the file makes the problem. when i copy only the other data everything works good. Microsoft office open it well. Steps to Reproduce: 1.create file with Microsoft excel with entire row filled with color and bold(up to infinity) 2.save it as xls and open it in libreoffice calc 3. Actual Results: open as empty file Expected Results: open the file with the data Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info:

The attached file is not a .XLS but a webpage file. You can open it if you change the extension to .HTML. Then you can open it correctly with LibreOffice Writer. Closing as RESOLVED INVALID
