The pattern editor paints pixels that should be blank.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to page editor, page styles, background editor of drawing objects (something to which a background pattern can be applied)
2. Select Area
3. Select Pattern
Pixels that should be in white, are colored in black. Or foreground color.
The pattern design to edit.

Here colors were reversed: the indicated pixels should be black but they are white, contrary to what happened with other patterns where the white was black.
