Description Yurij 2018-09-30 18:48:54 UTC
Description:
LOW SPEED PROCESSES INTRODUCED TO THE TABLE OF DATA.
Table 18000 Rows x 119 Columns and many formulas and 1 graphs

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a table file ~ 65 s
2.Add 8 small numbers of values to the table > 14 min
3.Saving a table file ~ 45 s

Actual Results:
The problem is always there

Expected Results:
Making 8 values in the table lasted more than 14 minutes!

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Low processing speed for data entry

Good day!

On the same sheet is a graph of five functions from this table.
When I was working with the LibreOffice Calc 5 version, everything was relatively good, except for a long download and write of a file that lasted more than 120 seconds each. Data input operations were processed within 2-5 seconds, which satisfied me.

The LibreOffice Calc 6 version opens and writes this file much faster, but slows down the data entry much slower. The latest version, which was still within reasonable limits, was LibreOffice Calc 6.0.6, although at times slower, such as LibreOffice Calc 5.4.7.

Scrolling the rows with the help of the bottom loop is jerky, the screen is pale, and the program stops responding for the teams by the cursor within 5 ... 20 seconds (LibreOffice Calc 5 was also a drawback).

Here are the results of LibreOffice Calc 6.1.2:

Open file ~ 65 seconds;

Entering data in column AL ~ 2 seconds;
Data entry in column AM ~ 5 seconds;
Entering data in the AR column ~ 90 seconds;
Move the cursor to AV column ~ 120 seconds;
Entering data in column AV ~ 270 seconds;
Data entry in BU column ~ 3 seconds;
Move the cursor to the DB column ~ 240 seconds;
Data entry in DB column ~ 120 seconds;

File recording ~ 45 seconds.

i can not confirm this:

Version: 6.1.2.1 (x64)
Build-ID: 65905a128db06ba48db947242809d14d3f9a93fe
CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 10.0; UI-Render: Standard;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); Calc:

notebook i5-3320, 8GB, SSD:
- file opening: ~ 75s (including recalc)
- uses ~ 1,5 GB memory
- full hard recalc: ~ 9 s
- entering data in column AV: ~ 1 s

The problem was with OpenGL (CL). On systems that do not support this
feature, LibreOffice Calc works fast. When I removed "Allow the use of
OpenCL", the speed of work is super.
Please forgive my English - this is a machine translation.
