Description Ferry Toth 2018-10-03 08:36:16 UTC
With Intel gfx and KDE4 backend (Ubuntu Bionic 18.04) turning on opengl (but not turning on 'Ignore Blacklist') breaks the UI completely (see attachment).

When restarting with backend forced to 'none' or 'gnome' UI is restored, but the checkboxes for opengl and blacklist have disappeared, so opengl can not be switched off.

The only way to disable opengl is through safe mode.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
We're moving into KDE5 in LibreOffice 6.2. Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?
You can install it alongside the standard version.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build

I already moved to Kubuntu 18.10 and just retried with 6.1.2.1 and it seemed fixed already.

From the <Help><About> dialog:
Versie: 6.1.2.1
Build ID: 1:6.1.2-0ubuntu1
CPU-threads: 8; Besturingssysteem: Linux 4.18; UI-render: GL; VCL: gtk3_kde5;
Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8); Calc: threaded

Do you want to close this or still try 6.2?
