Description conman53095 2018-10-07 17:52:00 UTC
Description:
Immediately after opening document, I cannot edit text box content. I must click on second page in the navigation window, then click back on the first. Then I can edit text box content.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an existing ODG document that contains text fields with content in them.
2. Attempt to click in text box field and edit content.
3. Text box field does not retain focus and cannot edit.
4. Navigate to next page by clicking on left page list, then click on first page.
5. Now click in text box and edit content.

Actual Results:
You cannot edit text box content until you navigate to another page of the document.

Expected Results:
Immediately after opening an existing ODG file, you should be able to edit text box content without navigating between pages.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

simpler test file that exhibits the symptom

I created a new ODG file using Draw, adding only a few of the same controls and labels. I was able to reproduce the symptom. However, with only one page of content, I found I only needed to click anything in the navigation pane -- the same page or any white space in the navigation pane -- to regain the ability to enter text field content.

I added the simpler test file to simplify things.

Regression introduced by https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=967a386bccb15b99915a1e878e42450fbe9a2d0e which is the same as in bug 95852
